Favorite Spots in Cleveland

We love to come to cleveland! We visit this city frequently, especially for a quick weekend trip away with the kids or just overnight for date night. There's so much to do here and explore during all seasons. We are also Cleveland Browns season ticket holders, so we are here a lot during the fall/ winter for all the games but we visit all year long.

Cleveland can be whatever you want it to be! Anthony planned a whole trip for my 30th birthday here and we spent a lot of time at The Flats, which is a fun adult scene with great food, clubs and music.

There is a lot to do that is family friendly as well. We bring the girls to Cleveland pretty often and they love it! They always call it a vacation. Not sure how long we can get away with Cleveland being "vacation" but we love it. We live a little over an hour away so it's the perfect distance for us.

We are Marriott reward members so whenever/ wherever we travel, we will almost always stay at a Marriott. They have amazing hotels and are very accomodating for our family.

Places to Stay

Marriott Downtown // this is our go to place to stay in Cleveland. It's close to the stadium when we stay for the Browns games.

The 9 // This hotel is stunning! We tend to stay here when we are here celebrating our birthdays or anniversary. It has a great bar in the basement of the hotel called The Vault.

The Ritz Carlton // This is also a great hotel to stay at. We have stayed here a few times. At christmas time, they have a great display of adorable gingerbread houses in the lobby.

A Loft // This hotel is close to the bars & restaurants by the water near The Flats. So many fun things to do within walking distance.

Places to Eat

Luca's Italian Cuisine // We just started visiting here a few times this summer and love it. Food is amazing!

Blue Point Grille // We have eaten here a good number of times and really like it. It's close to lots of other restaurants and bars too. It proudly serves the highest- quality seafood.

Marble Room // I have heard amazing things about Marble Room. We have yet to go here but it's on our next list of places to eat. It is more upscale so definitely keep that in mind.

Bourbon Street Barrel Room // We haven't actually been to this place either but looks awesome and ahs amazing reviews

Barrio // Love coming here for lunch. Nothing like great margaritas and tacos!

Places for Kids

  • Children's Museum Cleveland // This is an amazing place to bring your younger kids! Its geared towards kids age 0-8 years old. This museum has plenty to keep your child entertained while also learning something new. The Adventure City  exhibit, where kids can pretned to shop for groceries or go to the auto shop. The Wonder Lab  exhibit is great for little scientists and artists as well.
  • Great Lakes Science Center // My girls absolutely love all things space related. This is a great place for them to play and explore all things science related and learn about outer space.
  • Rock & Roll Hall of Fame // This is the ultimate music destination! A fun place to take some older kids to. I have been here a few times and it's really a great time. So much to learn and see about music from many generations!
  • The Cleveland Zoo
  • Greater Cleveland Aquarium
